  • Integrated subversion client!
    • Easily browse text, images, and Simulink on remote SVN servers.
    • Checkout SVN repos and make commits from your local machine.

  • Significant performance improvements while browsing the filesystem and opening new diffs.
  • Correct handling of high-resolution screens and non-standard font sizes.
  • DiffPlug now gives a warning if DiffPlug.exe is given command line arguments directly.
    • dp.exe is the intended command line client.

v1.2.2 is released

New in this release:

  • Improved zoom and pan for Simulink viewer / differ.
    • Mouse-wheel to zoom
    • Middle-mouse-drag to pan
  • No more KeyRing auto-login.
    • The KeyRing no longer prompts for your password on every login. It now waits until it needs your password for something.
  • The license manager has been improved to make changing versions easier.
  • Optional auto-close for deleted files.
  • Darkened some UI colors to improve readability on bright monitors.
  • Added menu items for File -> Open file and File -> Diff files.
    • These don’t take advantage of DiffPlug’s full capability, but they make it easier for new users to get comfortable with DiffPlug.

Bugs fixed in this release:

  • Fixed error when right-clicking on the DiffList with no files selected.
  • Fixed a bug which was causing the Simulink parser to erroneously warn on models with non-standard port dimensions.

v1.2.1 is released

New in this release:

  • When external changes are detected in an open file, DiffPlug will now refresh the editor rather than open a file status dialog. If you have made changes to the file, the file status dialog will be displayed as before.
    • If you prefer the old behavior where a file status dialog was displayed whenever an external change was detected, this can be enabled from the “Help -> Preferences” window.
  • DiffPlug’s “new version available” notifier now allows you to ignore a specific update.

Bugs fixed in this release:

  • Fixed a bug introduced in 1.2.0 which affected saving Simulink .mdl files.
  • Fixed the error message that was sometimes displayed when very different Simulink models were compared.
